Introducing the first coin in the Australian Antarctic Territory series from the Royal Australian Mint. The reverse depicts a family of emperor penguins standing on  the ice shelf, with the inscription 'EMPEROR PENGUIN', along with the weight and metal proof. The obverse shows an image of Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination and year of issue. Emperor Penguin is the largest ofall penguins, growing to around a metre tall. They are largest ofall penguins, standing around a metre tall and weighing up to 45 kilograms.

The limited edition of this coin is only 25,000 coins.
