Guardian Angel is often seen as benevolent and supernatural being tasked with safeguarding individuals, especially children. This time the Angel is personificated as a woman, holding a shield and a sword. The wings, gold gilded are widely spread, trying to cover and protect the bereaved children. The background shows the fields of war – destroyed buildings and solitary streets create the sad picture of devastated town. The obverse features the Cameroon coat of arms, the year of issue (2023), the face value as well as the weight of 2 oz.
