New product
The first coin in the new Artefacts series, showcasing important items in Germanic mythology that empowered heroes with their legendary strength. Gjallarhorn is the mythical horn of Heimdall, the guardian of Asgard, connecting the world of the gods with that of humans. During Ragnarök, it is the sound of Gjallarhorn that will warn the gods of the impending doom.
The coin depicts key stories related to Ragnarök, the mythical end of the world. The obverse features the arrow that contributed to Baldur’s death, along with the ship that Loki sailed to Yggdrasil to engage in the final battle with the gods. The imagery also shows brave warriors sent by Odin fighting against a monster.
On the reverse of the coin, you can see Sköll and Hati devouring the Sun and the Moon, as well as the epic battle between Odin and Fenrir, which ends with the tragic death of the god. Thor’s hammer, Mjölnir, is also depicted, wrapped in the body of the serpent Jormungand.
