Prime bullion - 2024 Malta Golden Eagle 5 Euro 1 oz Silver BU VM

The Golden Eagle bullion coin series is set to continue in 2024, thanks to a collaboration between the Central Bank of Malta and the Germania Mint. The coin has almost the same design as the previous year. A powerful Golden Eagle can be seen battling a cunning serpent, showing the battle between good and temptation. The background depicts the waves of the sea, pointing to the Mediterranean Sea, where Malta is located.

On the other side of the €5 coin we see an image of Malta surrounded by a wreath inspired by a painting from the Grand Master's Palace in Valletta. Surrounding it are olive and palm branches, symbols of peace. Lilies stand for majesty and glory, and roses symbolize purity and harmony.
