This commemorative coin with a face value of 2 euros commemorates the 1275th anniversary of the birth of Charlemagne - the King of the Franks, the King of the Lombards, and the Emperor of the Romans.
The design combines two elements: the personal monogram of Charlemagne and the octagon of the Aachen Cathedral. Both motifs have been skillfully merged into a distinctive work of art. The inner ring of the coin also features the inscription 'KARL DER GROßE' ('Charlemagne') at the top, and at the bottom, the year of issue '2023', the dates '748-814', the issuing country code 'D', mint mark ('A', 'D', 'F', 'G', or 'J'), and the artist's initials ('TW').
The minimum purchase quantity is a roll of 25 pcs.
