Germany 2 euro 2022 - Thuringia "The Wartburg in Eisenach" - J - COIN ROLL

In 2022, the popular 2 Euro series was completed with the commemorative 2 Euro "Thuringia" coin.

The coin depicts Wartburg Castle, built in the Middle Ages, which is located on a 410 meters cliff to the southwest and overlooks the city of Eisenach in Thuringia, Germany.

The castle was aded by UNESCO to the World Heritage List in 1999.

The coin also features the state name "THURINGEN", the letter "D" for the issuing country, the year of issue "2022" and the initials "OS" of artist Olaf Stoj.
