The American Buffalo is the goldt coin produced by the United States Mint. It was first introduced in 2006 and since then has enjoyed enormous popularity among investors and collectors. The obverse of this beautiful bullion coin shows the Indian character, which was created as a mixture of three chiefs of various American Indian tribes (Big Tree, Steel Tail, Two Moons). Next to the character, we see the inscription "liberty" and the year of coin's issue. The reverse of the coin is decorated with bison (Buffalo), which stands on the top of the mound. The Americans believe that this animal is Black Diamond, who lived in the New York Central Park Zoo in 1910. The reverse is also decorated with two inscriptions "Et pluribus unum" and "In God We Trust".
