Slovakia 2 euro 2023 - The first blood transfusion - COIN ROLL

The coin was issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first blood transfusion in Slovakia. The design is based on a composition with a repeating rhythm of circles. In the middle of the smallest circle, in the central part of the coin, there is a symbol of a drop and a cross with blood group symbols. In the second circle is embedded a repeated motif with a drop of blood, and in the next circle is indicated the theme of the coin 'Prvá transfúzia krvi', the dates '1923-2023' and the name of the issuing country 'Slovensko'.
