We are pleased to present the second coin in the Lost Tigers of Cambodia series, featuring the largest wild cats living on Earth - tigers. This predator, in many cultures considered a symbol of strength and courage, despite its majesty, is today threatened with extinction. This is mainly due to poaching and habitat loss. Cambodia is the first country to recognize the national extinction of Tigers and has worked clear steps to recover them. The reverse of the coin depicts a tiger a tiger surrounded by forest leaves. The inscription around it reads: "Lost Tigers of Cambodia," the weight of the coin and metal. The obverse features the Angkor Wat temple complex along with the inscription "Kingdom of Cambodia," the year of minting and the denomination.
